Meet Jillian!

As a childbirth educator and doula, my role revolves around empowering parents with knowledge and techniques to manage the birthing process effectively. Every birth is unique, and my aim is to ensure that mothers are well-prepared with a comprehensive understanding of their options.

I constantly seek out new methods and strategies that can ease the childbirth experience. This includes teaching breathing techniques, positions for labor, and pain management strategies such as relaxation exercises, massage or using a tens unit during labor. By equipping mothers with these tools, I help them feel more confident and in control during labor.

Beyond physical techniques, I emphasize the importance of informed decision-making. Birth is a deeply personal experience, and knowing the full range of options available—from medical interventions to natural pain relieving methods—empowers parents to make choices that align with their preferences and values.

My approach is holistic, recognizing that birth involves not just the physical aspects but also the emotional and psychological dimensions. By fostering a supportive environment and providing evidence-based information, I strive to create a positive birth experience where mothers feel supported and empowered every step of the way.

Ultimately, my goal as a childbirth educator is to ensure that mothers enter labor feeling informed, prepared, and capable of making choices that promote a safe and fulfilling birth experience for themselves and their babies.
